Each post I write will include a video from a Canadian band, so I thought it’d be convenient to store them here for your viewing pleasure. These are the Punk ones. Feel free to comment on what you like or don’t like. Eventually I’ll leave some mini-bios and links so you can find out more aboot the bands. Les [The] Dales Hawerchuk is a straight up garage guitar-rock band from Roberval in the Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec. They’ve taken their name from 2001 NHL Hall of Fame inductee “Dale Hawerchuk”, who spent most of his career with the Winnepeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres. When I can find some more stuff aboot the band I’ll put it here, until then… according to Wikipedia (and why shouldn’t we trust Wiki?) Dale Hawerchuk was the third choice in a poll of NHL General Managers when asked who they’d select to start a franchise with. Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey were one and two.
